I am Laurence Muzembi, (Charl-Laure) your host here. I am author, life coach, business consultant, etc.

One thing I admire most about you is your humility and ability to learn, and it is incredibly admirable that you’re here and able to learn. It means you are humble, meaning you do not pretend you are perfect. You all know that there are things you need to change or improve on despite your backgrounds. Integrity is about transparency. 

You are because you care about doing the right thing, and I adore you for it, that you’re responsible people who take ownership. And because you’re resilient, the Lord help me with capacity, and in love, to deliver a word that will help you pursue your goals, dreams, objectives, or wishes until the very end in which you obtain. 

Now, sometimes you will hear me mix church and politics, it is because Jesus himself was highly political and pro-society. The church should not only speak about heaven, but also, like Jesus, call for justice, generosity and human dignity, as well as working for the society that is what God called us to do. We need to be witnesses to the good news of Jesus Christ in word and deed, as the churches often are, although we often get things wrong, and also be speaking with a vision for the society we belong. God cares for those in need and expects those who claim to act in his name to do the same. That means action - and words. Jesus criticised the king as a fox and spoke harsh words to leaders of the nations when they were uncaring of the needy. We need to face our challenges today with a fresh vision that is confident, practical and outward looking.

Let the Church be the Church, i.e., model truth, justice, and righteousness. I passionately believe it can be done.
