“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord…” Jeremiah 29:13-14
Sometimes believers become too lazy to search God for themselves. Even preaching, the sermons produced are superficial and shallow. Com’on folks, you can do better. Focus on producing what really matters to people, even prayer or teaching show it’s a really thought of, don’t be in a rush or like you are under pressure to produce. You’re only letting yourself down if you’re not proactive. This is a command, “…ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
“The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” Psalm 14:2-3
That’s the problem, we scratch on the surface. This is what you should do when seek God; understand. Use all your common five senses; listen, watch, sense and absorb.
This is why we learn, to retain an open mind, seek clarity, to become aware of gaps, and strive to find new ways to explore new ideas….
Anyway, all I wanted you to know before I sleep is that you can do better.
