You are the salt of the earth

“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.” Matthew 5:13

As believers we should know our value and worthiness in the sight of God. Never trade it for nothing, “as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright” (Hebrews 12:16). Don’t allow yourself to be cast out nor to be trodden underfoot of men.

You just have to know you ain’t as worthless as people think of you, you’re rather important for the world; for mankind, for humanity, and for your generation, and your God.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20

What that means is we are ‘the salt,’ the standard of the world; go you therefore and influence with the best out of your life.

God bless,

Laurence

Bible verse of the day

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
