What do people do in Church?

People do so many things in Church; one of which is to praise and worship God, and believers should know how to praise God for themselves and to give him the glory for his love and compassion towards them.

The pastor should read scriptures on several topics to the people and help them gain a deeper understanding of what the Bible says concerning each subject, and what it truly means to be a Christian.

Proverbs 3:5 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Being in Church is giving every believer that opportunity to connect with Jesus, through prayer, confession, songs, hearing the word read and most importantly it’s about praising him and thanking him for his love. It’s about fellowship with Christ and other believers and taking communion too. Jesus said ‘this do in remembrance of me…’ So we should remember to do all that he said we should do.

We also meet for other social occasions so that believers should be able to form friendships, Bible Study, witness, share life testimonies and reaching out.

We serve in our local communities, through providing practical help, spiritual guidance and much prayer. We raise funds – not only for our own use as a church but also in order that we can help others through charitable works.
