The Great Commission

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20

The Great Commission

Jesus gave this command to his disciples shortly before He ascended into heaven, and it essentially outlines what He expects you to do in His absence.

How are we to make disciples?

The Great Commission instructs us to ‘make disciples’ while we are going about doing our daily activities. As you are going about your business; baptise, teach and make disciples.

To “Make disciples” is the command of the Great Commission. Acts 1:8 says; “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

To become a witnesses of Christ is enabled by the power of the Holy Spirit, and we are to fulfil that role wherever we are.

How you can help fulfil the Great Commission? By evangelising and and making disciples.

  1. Are you passionate about making disciples?
  2. Do you want to enhance your calling?
  3. Do you want to make your voice heard where you are?

If your answer is ‘yes’ to these three questions then why not become our Great Commission International Representative today.
