“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.” Galatians 1:6-7
The gospel of Christ is the grace of God. When you’re not careful you spent all your spiritual life hearing the wrong gospel, “which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.”
Which is not another meaning you’ll not be able to notice the difference but damage would’ve been caused on the gospel of Christ.
Paul said, “Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” Galatians 1:3-5
What you need is the sincere milk of the word of God – the actual Grace and peace from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. That’s all you need to operate in you – grace according to the will of God our Father. Jesus says, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27).
Anyway, back to our scripture, Galatians 1:15-16 says, “But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood.”
You were called to this grace; it pleased God to separate you for this gospel. He called you by his grace, by the revelation of Christ. To reveal his Son (grace and truth ) in you.
You were called to not please men, flesh and blood, for the gospel you received is not after man, but is there that with or by it you may please God. It is not there that you may please people; Jews, Apostles, man nor any form of religion with it but God alone is the intended reason why we’ve this grace working in us.
“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel”
Small things are they which remove people from their calling; for instance believers forgetting that it is “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost” (Titus 3:5). Paul again says to the Ephesians, “Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:9-10
Here he said, “but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.” That which perverts the gospel of Christ, probably is the same spiritual food. However, it’s an evil world; beware of false prophets.
Proverbs 6:16-19 says, “These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” Jude 1:11-13 says, “Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.”
Com’on folks, remain in the grace of God.
