I pray that he shuts you in.
Reading Gen 6:1-18
Looking at it nothing has really changed; what’s happening is still grieving the heart of God. There are people who if you look at they seem as if they’re gods, what the bible here describes as giants!
But thanks be to God, because he came up with a plan we here call the plan of salvation.
With this plan you got to ” Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.” Genesis 6:14
– believers are different from atheists because our mindset is to build. You prepare yourself an ark.
– gopher represents humanity, even Christ needed to be human to provide salvation.
You got to broken, “it pleased the father to break him”
To bring salvation to others it’s necessary that you also come down – don’t be pompous, be human. The gopher tree represents all humanity even Christ’s humanity.
About the ark the measurements were so precise…you need to depend on God through and through. The plan of salvation is God’s not yours. He used the ark for his own plan, that you should not perish but have everlasting life. He gives everybody a plan, not willing that any should perish. You got to move in obedience…
– the pitch represents the blood of Jesus, it made the ark watertight, so does the blood to his church. It is the blood that covers us!
It’s about fellowship with God, when closed fellowship is broken off.
– with the window focus isn’t put on judgement but the glory to come.
Christ is the only saviour, the captain of the ship, and the only way of knowing to God.
“And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in.” Genesis 7:16
Enter in, and I pray that he shuts you in.
Rest is coming for you on mount Ararat, with the rainbow!
