Is the law sin?

“But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.” Romans 7:6 Two things I am going to talk to you about today; the oldness of the letter, wherein many are held, and that we should serve in newness of spirit. What shall we say then? Is the law sin?  God forbid. Nay. “The law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.” Romans 7:12.  But “the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.” Romans 7:10 He found it to be unto unto death not necessarily that it was to blame, but because sin took advantage of it, and “wrought in me all manner of concupiscence.
