Beware of men

In Matthew 10:16-17 Jesus says  “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues.” “…Be as wise as serpents and harmless as doves. But beware of men…” David asked, what can man do to me? In Psalm 56:1-2 he cried, “Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.
