Hope in God

Hope in God; he is able to make you smile again.

“O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.” Psalm 43:3

An ungodly nation is a merciless, deceitful, unkind, unloving nation, such people as are full of bitterness charged especially towards God. The reason simply because they don’t want to hear the truth. And here David now says, “O God, defend me from the charges of these merciless, deceitful men”; O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me that I may not be discouraged.

Tell you what? Only his light and truth is the one able to make you smile again. Psalm 43:5 says, “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.”

Have a great weekend

Shalom!

Bible verse of the day

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
