Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.

“Lord , make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.” Psalm 39:4

Good evening, Yes make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days on earth, “I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were” (Psalm 39:12). My whole lifetime is but a moment to God – we’re his guests for us to live is the grace of God.

Verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity, rather they are disquieted in vain: for if they don’t know God they walk in a vain show, how pathetic. But you and me should instead make the most of our time useful for God, redeeming the time for the days are evil.

In this world where most men are vain and frail as breath, you can turn around your situation. Psalm 39:13 says, “O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more.

Your prayer should be O Lord spare me, that I may recover strength, “Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.” Psalm 39:8

May he spare you from vanity, from the reproach of foolishness and deceptions. Know how frail you’re when you’re outside of the presence of God, and pray, “Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.” Psalm 38:22
