Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?

The answer is simple; they try to outwit God but they do always fail. Verse 2 – 3 says, “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.” It’s a game of thrones, and a conspiracy to destroy that’s to do with God.  The day you got born again the Lord looked on you and said, “Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.” (Psalm 2:7).
