“Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near.” Mark 13:28
It’s not all trees that you can uproot and plant again. A full grown tree will suffer some degree of stress when uprooted and transplanted. Imagine the loss of too many roots during transplanting? The shock of transplanting or moving may cause that tree to fail and will stop to thrive or even die. Equally, divorcing a wife you had six children with is appalling and cruel, it’s same as the sin of witchcraft. You robbed those who looked up to her as that “…fig tree…yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near.” How are they gonna know, how are they gonna tell?
The Lord finished telling the parable saying; “Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye [now] know not when the time is.” Mark 13:33
Take ye heed, watch and pray!
“So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.” Mark 13:29
When you shall see these things; iniquities and all unrighteousness dwelling where it is supposed to be not, “know that it [that day] is nigh, even at the doors.”
The day of the Lord
“…behold, I have foretold you all things. But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.” Mark 13:23-26 KJV
Our sun is darkened, and our moon ain’t giving her light, our stars have even fallen, and the powers that are, shaken, just because of thoughtless men.
