The gospel; I preach, ye receive, and ye stand!

“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.” Galatians 1:6-7

Remember he that called you into this grace is God, it’s not man; no matter how arrogant and opinionated man is remember man has no heaven to put you but God will. Grace is of a divine origin ; “…it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13). Remember scripture describes it “the grace of Christ” and those that make you believe otherwise only do so to trouble you. But I’m glad Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me…if it were not so , I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John 14:1-3). It’s only faith in Christ that will put you there, nothing else.
Paul expressed sorrow, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel…” Due to faith misplaced see how so many are disappointed, misled and crash own faith due to people who are also men as they’re.

Brethren, your love for the grace of God should abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; learn in your life to “…approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.” Phil 1:10
Listen to what Paul says concerning the grace of God;

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures…”(1 Corinthians 15:1-3).

Stand by the same; i.e. same gospel, same faith, same belief, same mind or hope and same Christ. “…ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.”

Now here is the question; is today’s Church endeavouring to stand and keep the same…?

Paul said, “…I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state. For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s.” Philippians 2:20-21

You see brethren how grace is distorted that God in Isaiah 58 even asks, “Is it such a fast that I have chosen?” Is it such a grace, gospel, salvation, faith, hope, sanctity, etc?

You did not believe in vain when you first believed. It was timely and by divine appointment, press on therefore towards the mark of the high calling of God.

Bible verse of the day

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
