Understanding Spiritual Warfare

As Christians, we need to know we are in a war; a spiritual warfare. On a daily basis we are in a battle even though sometimes we cannot physically see the attacker. But we’ve got to understand that those spiritual battles / spiritual warfares are real.

You can also find the podcast using iTunes Store search or play on Spotify.

That’s the reason why you got to fight, and rather pray without ceasing. In the spiritual realm, there is a battle going on regardless of your opinion? You’re either a victor or a victim, period.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12

So, the sooner you got to know how battles are fought and won the better –  these spiritual wickedness impact your life on a daily basis. But because we are Christians we shouldn’t approach this from a position of weakness, because the battle has already been won on our behalf. “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5

Jesus told us in Matthew 28:18 that, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.” This verse is also about our every day victory, leading us to a victorious living in Christ.

From now on the Bible study I’ll have with you will give you a foundation to  understanding spiritual warfare. We will explore and review the book of Psalms together and discuss what the Bible says concerning spiritual battles and learn how we also can apply these scriptures so as to bring victory to our personal lives. Why Psalms? Remember Christ said, “…These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth.” (Revelation 3:7).

It begins with us learning the truth of God’s Word, and dispelling the lies of the enemy. For more information on the Subject, Spiritual Warfare, please see posts in the Category area on the righthand sidebar.
