Spiritual Warfare

Your journey to understanding spiritual warfare

As Christians, we need to know we are in a war; a spiritual warfare, a battle on a daily basis even though we cannot physically see the attacker. But we’ve got to understand that those spiritual battles and spiritual warfares are real.

That’s the reason why you got to fight and rather pray without ceasing. Are you aware in the spiritual realm, there is a battle going on regardless of your opinion? You’re either a victor or a victim, period.

Understanding Spiritual Warfare

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12

So, the sooner you got to know how battles are fought and won the better – these spiritual wickedness impact your live on a daily basis.

However, as Christians we shouldn’t approach this from a position of weakness because the battle has already been won for us. “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5

Jesus told us in Matthew 28:18 that, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.” This verse is also about our every day victory, leading us to a victorious living in Christ.

From now on the Bible study I’ll have with you will give you a foundation to understanding spiritual warfare. We will explore and review the book of Psalms together and discuss what the Bible says concerning spiritual battles and learn how we also can apply scriptures to our personal lives to bring victory over these battles. Why Psalms? Remember Christ said, “…These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth.” (Revelation 3:7).

It begins with learning the truth of God’s Word and dispelling the lies of the enemy.

Probably Psalm 1 is the best place to start, and please follow the related series as would be recommended.

Bible verse of the day

Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
