There are two sets of horns we see in Psalm 75; that belonging to the righteous, God shall promote, and 2, that of the wicked, He will cut off.
To succeed you got to have/bear the right set of horns.
And quick word of advice if you believe; don’t deal foolishly! That we do when we continue to lift up, exalt and glorify the powers of darkness in our hearts.
You shouldn’t do that, and my word of advice; lift not up the horn of the wicked! Lift not up your own horn! Never ever!
Rather destroy them, cut them off your own lips; do not magnify what the enemy is capable of doing. It’s not that we’re afraid but the Psalmist said, “But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.” Psalm 75:9
He said I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob, none else. You only have one master, and him only you serve!
He said, “Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.” Psalm 75:1
That’s our horn, our strength, and peace of mind; unto him only, we give thanks! “How we thank you, Lord! Your mighty miracles give proof that you care.” Positive things happen only when you praise Him.
Zephaniah 3:17 says, ”The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.”
And the Psalmist said,
“For promotion and power come from nowhere on earth, but only from God. He promotes one and deposes another.” Psalm 75:6-7
He promotes and exalts the horns of the righteous, which is praise, but the horns of the wicked self exaltation or arrogance he cut off and deposes.
What’s your horn folks? Praising God! He says in Psalm 75:3, “It is I who will steady the pillars.” Selah
