My friend, Christ laid us an example, that in everything we do, we also should patiently endure hardship, suffering and trouble of every kind, just as he did. Doing that proves we’ve understood the gospel.
We stand true to the Lord no matter what, that the ministry be not blamed:
“…in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings…” 2 Corinthians 6:3-5
Paul says in 2 Corinthians 6:1, “We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.”
We are workers together with Christ; we don’t partner with the world or unbelievers but with God’s people. As believers of his, let’s try our level best to be separate, to have no ties with infidels or the unclean but that we open our lives one for another. “You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.” 2 Corinthians 6:12.
Our heart is enlarged
“By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true.” 2 Corinthians 6:6-8
And what that means is, be holy!
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing ; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:17-18
