Mark the perfect man.

“Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.” Psalm 37:37

Mark the perfect man!

A perfect man is someone whose trust is in the Lord and he does good;

  • he’s delighted with the lord,
  • has committed everything he does to the lord and
  • he rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him.

Mark the perfect man, “they shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied” (Psalm 37:19), Why? God is delighted with each step they take, which are ordered by him anyway. Psalm 37:24 says, “Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.”

Mark the perfect man, “…they’re preserved forever…”(Psalm 37:28) with peace.

Peace is something everyone would want, yet few seem to find. What is peace then? It can be defined as wellbeing of life; tranquility, harmony, prosperity or security. Please note there are different types of peace, including false sense of peace, inner peace, peace with man, and of course peace with God is what I’m talking about here. It is peace with God that makes you inherit the land, “For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints” (Psalm 37:28).

“The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever” ( Psalm 37:29).

It’s worthwhile mentioning that many of the promises of this Psalm sees us through to eternity, in the kingdom of God wherein dwelleth righteousness. Peace is directly related to the actions and attitudes of you as an individual, that you trust, delight, rest in the Lord; “Commit thy way unto the Lord ; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:5

Mark the perfect man, and behold he departs from evil. “He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed” (Psalm 37:26). His seed is indeed blessed. If you’re in the Lord your present circumstances don’t really matter at all, they determine where you can go.
