Endure sound doctrine

” But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” 2 Timothy 4:5 KJV

Watch thou in all things that you’re profitable or useful for ministry of Christ;

  • fight a good fight, vs 7
  • keep the faith, vs 7
  • finish the course, vs 7
  • love not the world, vs 10
  • bring others to Christ, vs 5
  • leave nothing undone that you ought to do.

” Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” 2 Timothy 4:2

Perilous times

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4

The only chances of survival is to endure afflictions, and to do the work of an evangelist.

Fulfil your ministry

Watch thou in all things, endure afflictions…make full proof of thy ministry; don’t be turned unto fables!

You mustn’t be one of those who “heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.” 2 Timothy 4:4

Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
