Understanding Spiritual Warfare – Psalm 3
“Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! Many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.” (Psalm 3:1-2). Do not despair, Do not despair, Do not despair!
Do not despair!
You should only be concerned with what God has to say in your life, nothing else. Don’t worry of what men have got to say, nothing will happen no matter how much they murmur, complain or speak great swelling words against you. Do not lose sleep because of back bitters. David said, “I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.” (Psalm 3:6). And again he said, “Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God,” can you believe it, such a spirit of witchcraft?
But know today, help is on its way! All you ever need to do is to cry out to the Lord. David said, “I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.” Psalm 3:4
- God also hears you when you pray!
He said I cried out to the Lord, and he heard me…then I lay down and slept in peace and woke up safely, for the Lord was watching over me. “…in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalm 30:5
Here is how he prayed;
“Arise, O Lord ; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.” Psalm 3:7
- He’s a shield for you; he’s your glory, and the lifter up of your head, and this blessing is upon all his people.
