The fact is there is no good translation out there, and never has been.
The KJV is prejudiced and biased, and to make matters the translators were racists. NIV, and all the modern ones are flawed, and they have serious omissions. Both Hebrew and Greek are erroneous, because the emphasis maybe was the law. I hear the Lord say, “Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time…But I say unto you…” (Matthew 5:27-28).
What you need to know is scripture was infiltrated by the enemy and this will prove it, “Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.” Matthew 4:5-7
It’s the devil’s habit to twist scripture right in the face of the believer, but thank God because of the Holy Ghost we are able to counter that, just as the Lord was able to stop him. Word of advice, never cast yourself down to attract God’s attention, as many of us do. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Anyway, since John wrote revelations any future translations were blocked;
“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation 22:18-19
But this century alone we’ve had so many submissions, and commentaries too – some though are devil incarnate. With so many editions of these, you ask yourself was John wrong, or it’s the translation that’s wrong?
I talked above about the Holy Spirit. It is him you need to judge all things therewith, and especially for discernment. You need wisdom like Barzillai so that you can discern between what’s good and bad translation. Upon that note Jesus said, “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” John 16:12-14
