Be Ye Separate!

Be not ye therefore like unto them:

Those who think they will be heard for their much speaking, asking, petitioning or repetitive prayers.

Be not ye therefore like unto them:

“…for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.” Matthew 6:8

He even knows when you need to rest;

“And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught. And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.” Mark 6:30-31

The bible says, “And they departed into a desert place by ship privately.” Another version says, “Then Jesus suggested, “Let’s get away from the crowds for a while and rest.” For so many people were coming and going that they scarcely had time to eat” (Mark 6:32 NLT).

My dear friend, brethren or pastor; God knows when you sometimes need to rest, you need leisure, so much as to eat and rest – “they left by boat to a much quieter spot.” The disciples didn’t have to ask, it was all arranged for them. Jesus suggested it to them –

“…for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.” Luke 6:8

But those who think they will be heard through much petitioning/ asking are they who make you think you can ask for every petty thing, creating the impression that God has no idea you’ve need of those things. But He does know, even before you ask, and for some He quietly  give them – while you sleep.

He wants you to have those things, and actually know it today that they’re yours, just as all believers are heirs of all good things – the inheritance is yours. The father said to the elder son, “Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.” Luke 15:31.

What have we?

All things!, including things we repetitively ask for.

Jesus said, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. [ and here is the point] And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name…” (Mark 16:15-17). After you’ve done His will, all these things you need simply  follows you. He says, in  Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” He knows we are in need of these things, health, peace, protection, clothes, food, etc., “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:32

Surely He’ll give them to us, whether we ask for them or not, and where we ask we shouldn’t ask the way the heathens or greedy people do – don’t be like unto them. We shouldn’t be driven by lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness. Those who do, live in error!

Jesus said, “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.” Matthew 6:31-32

We’ve our own way of sourcing divine help they know not of. He said, “and when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are…But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do : for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.” (Matthew 6:5-7).

Be ye separate!

God bless,
