“He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.” Matthew 12:30-32
Do you know what an issue is?
The scripture above demonstrates a good example of one. All manner of sin and blasphemy is not a big issue, it shall be forgiven unto men but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men, “whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.” Now that’s a big issue! If everyone could agree then it would not been an issue, the big issue is that not all believes.
Your choice of issue is very important. James 3:1 says, “My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.”
Try to choose an issue that has a clear focus for you, and to gather with him.
Deuteronomy 30:15 says, “See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;” and verse 19 says, “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.”
Choòsing life and good, then would be an appropriate issue that gives you a future and a hope.
